Yasmin says: "These two asked me to take their photograph, so I did. I don't normally take pictures of people unless they ask. I asked them if they had an email address so I could send it to them, they didn't."

Yasmin says: "Floating down the Nile on a felucca was an escape from the dusty hustle and bustle of the cities in Egypt (which I also loved). This was taken at sunset".

Yasmin says: "When I look at this I see what it actually is, the surface of the largest pyramid in Giza - the Pyramid of Khufu. But most people see some type of rocky landscape. I love that. Spot birds? Evidence says the pyramids used to be rendered smooth but now all that is left is this rocky surface."

Yasmin says: "One of my favourite temples I visited in Egypt, it is incredible to be surrounded by such old relics and inscriptions from such an ancient time."

Yasmin Mund is a multiple award winning photographer and image-maker based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. She has a background in design and visual communications and calls her work 'travel art'. She likes to use her work as signifiers of a place - instead of depicting the obvious 'travel photos' she wants to remind people of the connection and feelings that they experienced when they were there as well as inspiring people to go somewhere they haven't been.
